Christopher Garrett, 17, was driving a Nissan Rogue SUV on July 30 when he ran a red light at over 100 mph while being pursued by police. He collided with a vehicle that was turning left. His passengers, Jay'Oni Leonard, 14, and Alexia Simpson, 17, were killed, along with Elizabeth Anderson, 62, and George Nienhouse, 65, the driver and passenger of the other vehicle. Garrett was charged as an adult with four counts of vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter.
