During a police pursuit, a dark-colored sedan carrying four teenagers jumped a curb, plowed through a guardrail, and plunged into the water at East Palm Drive and Southeast 28th Avenue in Homestead, Florida. Jeremiah Calderon, 16, along with Terrance Valdivia, 14, and Rihanna Vargas, 14, were killed in the crash. The 16-year-old driver was the sole survivor of the incident.
