On September 29, 2024, Bobby Aguilar, 43, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Bexar County Jail. Hehe was pronounced dead shortly after by first responders. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office reported that Aguilar appeared to have suffered a medical episode, though the official cause and manner of death were pending determination by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office. Aguilar had been arrested in March 2024 on multiple charges, including resisting arrest, obstruction/retaliation, a Class C traffic offense, and terroristic threat causing fear of serious bodily injury.
