One person was killed and another was injured as a result of a crash during a police chase in Beaufort County Sunday night on Kinloch Road near Wimbee Landing Road. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to Keans Neck Road and Coakley Drive in Dale for a drag racing complaint. Beauford County deputies focused on the vehicle of Herman Elvin Martin Jr. and began chasing him until he crashed into a tree and died.
