OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Bridgeport Police responded to a reported street fight involving armed individuals near East Main Street on March 31, 2025. Officers conducted a felony stop on a vehicle believed to be involved. A male exited the vehicle and ran. During the foot pursuit along the 1400 block of Kossuth Street, police shot and killed him. A firearm was recovered. The Connecticut Office of Inspector General and State Police Major Crimes Squad are investigating.
