Around 2:57 a.m. on March 28, 2025, a Marin County Sheriff's deputy attempted a traffic stop on a reckless driver near Andersen Drive and Bellam Boulevard. The man did not stop. Deputies escalated a chase that lasted two minutes before the vehicle struck a tree. The male driver was ejected and died at the crash site.
