OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 4, 2025, San Diego Police responded to a report of a man with a gun near the 3100 block of Imperial Avenue in the Stockton neighborhood of Southeastern San Diego. Upon arrival, officers encountered a man who allegedly pointed a revolver at them. Officers opened fire and killed him at the scene. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is conducting the investigation.
