OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On April 10, 2025, Rio Arriba County deputies and Ohkay Owingeh police responded to a reported theft on State Road 75 in Dixon, New Mexico. Officers were told items had been taken from a home, including a firearm. Police located the vehicle in Española, where it stopped outside Lowe’s. Zachary Sisneros exited the vehicle armed with a rifle. Officers opened fire and killed him in the Lowe’s parking lot on North Riverside Drive.
