Kyren Lacy, 24, a former LSU wide receiver and 2025 NFL Draft prospect, died by suicide under police duress on April 12, 2025, following a police pursuit in Houston, Texas. Authorities responded to a report of Lacy discharging a firearm during a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, deputies learned Lacy had left and they escalated a pursuit and chased him until he crashed on Aldine Westfield Road. Deputies found Lacy deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
