OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Mel Melchizedek, 51, allegedly threatened a neighbor with a gun on the morning of April 22, 2025, before retreating into his home in Ramsey, Minnesota. Officers responded, and a standoff ensued, with authorities issuing a shelter-in-place for surrounding homes. When contact could not be established, police entered and found Melchizedek dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Also found inside was 42-year-old Hulda Bochere Mosiori, who had been fatally shot. Police believe Melchizedek killed Mosiori before taking his own life.
