OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On April 13, 2025, officers from the Parker Police Department and the Colorado River Indian Tribes Police Department responded to a call involving shooting victims at a residence south of Parker, Arizona. Upon arrival, they were confronted by a man holding a gun. The man refused commands to drop the weapon and fired multiple rounds at the officers, striking patrol vehicles. Officers from both departments returned fire, hitting the man. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died. The FBI's Phoenix Field Office and the Yuma Police Department are leading the investigation.
