Arizona DPS saw a vehicle speeding at 90 mph on the I-10 and tried to pull it over. The chase escalated to over 100 mph across the freeway, city streets, going into wrong-way traffic and more officers joining and trying a PIT maneuver on the vehicle. After a while, the man stopped the vehicle and took off running on foot. Police allege that they saw him holding a gun and they shot at him. The man was found dead. Police allege that they do not know if they killed him or if he committed suicide under police duress. The vehicle he had been driving was stolen and had false paper plates.
