OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On May 22, 2025, around 5:45 p.m., Bartlett Police officers responded to a shoplifting report at the Lowe's in the Wolfchase area. When officers approached Thomas Feminella, he reportedly had a knife. Officers opened fire, striking him. Feminella was transported to Regional One Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent review.
