OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On June 5, 2025, deputies from Brazoria County Constable Precinct 1 executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Doris Stinson Road. During the operation, a woman inside the home allegedly pointed a gun at a deputy. Two deputies opened fire, striking her. She was transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
