Sumter County deputies chased Ravon Harris for a previous dispute with someone else. Police escalated a chase over 100 mph until the vehicle flipped over and was engulfed in fire, severely injuring the teenager. He died at the hospital later. It is unclear why a life-threatening chase was undertaken for an argument that had been resolved before police arrived.
