A Victoria police chase on June 22, 2025, ended in a crash that killed rear passenger T’Andre Kitchens, 17. Police had attempted to stop the vehicle after a 911 call about a man allegedly pointing a gun. The driver did not stop. Officers chased the car through Victoria, and the crash occurred in the 3800 block of North Ben Jordan Street. Kitchens died at the scene. No firearm was found.
