CHP pursued a stolen black Honda on the northbound I-5 on 07/16/2025. The driver continued driving at high speed. Near Brookhurst/Euclid the Honda slammed the center divider and struck a shuttle bus. Three occupants of the Honda died, including passenger Caleb Ezequiel Mendoza, 20. Two others were injured.
