OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/10/2025, at approximately 5:57 p.m., Houston Police attempted to stop a man believed to have been involved in multiple robberies near Bellaire Boulevard and South Kirkwood Road. The man did not stop, and police chased him t high speed for about 15 minutes through Southwest Houston. The chase ended on the 8800 block of Aspen Meadow Drive, where the man exited his vehicle armed with a gun. At least seven officers opened fire, killing him. Body-worn camera footage is expected to be released within 30 days.
