On 01/02/2025, a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a high-speed chase of a vehicle believed to be linked to robberies. The driver, a 14-year-old boy, did not stop. Police escalated the chase, which ended when the vehicle crashed, killing three teenage boys, including the driver, and injuring three other juveniles. The fatal pursuit and crash are under internal investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
