On 09/03/2025, at approximately 6:18 a.m., Santa Clara police responded to a residence on the 1800 block of Eisenhower Drive for a reported stabbing. The caller stated one individual had stabbed a victim inside the home. Officers encountered the individual and were involved in a shooting. The individual was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead. The victim was transported to a hospital and is being treated for injuries. The officer was not injured. There was no active threat to the public. The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and the Santa Clara Police Department are conducting a joint investigation.
