OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A woman went to her parents’ home in Hernando County to pick up her children when the noncustodial parent showed up and began firing shots, striking and injuring her. Police arrived, began chasing him and he fell into a retention pond, climbed out and began shooting at police. Pasco deputies, the Florida Highway Patrol and Tampa PD all chased him on foot and fired at him, finally killing him.
