OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On October 3, 2025, Redlands police responded around 1:30 p.m. to a report of a man threatening suicide in the Albertsons parking lot at 450 East Cypress Avenue. Officers found the man in a red Ford Expedition holding a revolver. While police were on scene, they heard a single gunshot and confirmed the man had shot himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
