On 10/04/2025, Riverside police arrested 32-year-old Jose Luis Serrano Jr. for suspected DUI after running a red light. Serrano admitted to ingesting methamphetamine and was taken into custody. Paramedics were called, and he was transported to a hospital where he died around 12:30 a.m. despite medical intervention. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Force Investigations Detail and Coroner’s Bureau are investigating the death.
