OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 10/12/2025, Border Patrol agents pursued a vehicle after observing several individuals running from the border wall in West El Paso. The driver did not stop, and agents escalated a chase along West Paisano Drive. The vehicle struck a curb and a light pole and rolled over. Passenger Axel Everado Iquic-Sequen, 30, was one of two passengers killed in the crash. Five others were hospitalized with injuries.
