OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On April 6, 2021, a high-speed police pursuit in west Houston ended when a fleeing vehicle crashed into another car near South Dairy Ashford Road and Westheimer Road. The bystander, who was driving the other vehicle, was struck by the fleeing car, which exploded in flames on impact. Both the fleeing driver and the bystander were killed. The Houston Police Department is investigating the fatal crash.
