On October 26, 2025, Morgan Nikolai Stephens, 36, of Burlington, Colorado, died after his 2024 RAM truck veered off the road on Kansas Highway 27 north of Syracuse in Hamilton County, Kansas. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that the vehicle entered the shoulder, over-corrected, and rolled multiple times. Stephens was not wearing a seatbelt and later died at the hospital.
