Officers from the Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to a burglary in progress at 12:10 a m. on 08/06/2023 at an occupied residence in the first block of West New Street. Police found that the intruder was still inside the house. He exited the house and pointed a firearm at them. Police shot and killed him. The killing was justified by the DA.
