On 03/28/2021, a high-speed pursuit in Highland, California ended when suspects who had fled from police ran a red light at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Fifth Street and struck three other vehicles. One of the motorists, a female driver in a separate vehicle, was killed in the crash. The suspects’ vehicle came to rest after colliding with multiple cars, and officers took two individuals into custody. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
