On 05/05/2021, Los Angeles police pursued a 27-year-old man in the Hollywood neighborhood after attempting to detain him. The man fled on foot, climbed a fence, and was struck with a Taser during the pursuit. Moments later, he produced a firearm and fatally shot himself.
