OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 06/27/2021, deputies with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop on a black Infiniti; the driver refused to stop, dragged a deputy with the car, and deputies escalated a chase. The Infiniti continued driving very fast and collided with a Chevrolet sedan at West Tennessee Street and Blountstown Highway. The driver and passenger as well as a bystander were all killed.
