OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 11/22/2025, deputies responded to a domestic violence threat involving Jesse G. Yaun, who reportedly threatened family members and threatened to burn the home. Deputies found him inside a travel trailer on the property. Negotiators and the Peninsula Crisis Response Team attempted contact for nearly two hours while neighbors were evacuated. During the standoff, a gunshot was heard and deputies breached the trailer, where Yaun was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.
