On 09/22/2025 shortly after 11:00 p.m., a man identified as Patrick O. Cardew Jr. was found suffering from gunshot wounds at the intersection of Northeast 102nd Avenue and Sandy Boulevard in the Parkrose neighborhood of Northeast Portland. Police responded to reports of a shooting. Cardew Jr. was declared dead at the scene after officers discovered his body. Investigators from the homicide unit have been assigned and detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.
