On 11/18/2025, officers responded to reports of a man damaging vehicles in a parking lot on North McKinley Street. When officers arrived they found Kiavik Galarza Miranda holding a tire iron. Moments later officers opened fire and shot him. He died at the scene. A state level investigation is underway.
