OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Oklahoma City PD tried to pull over a vehicle that fled. Police escalated a chase and claim they called it off and “followed from a distance” when the car crashed near SE 29th and Shields. The fleeing vehicle had crashed into an unhoused pedestrian named Travis Barber. The driver fled on foot and was able to escape entirely. Barber died.
