On 12/03/2025, officers attempted to stop a red pickup truck for reckless driving on Interstate 69 near Exit 114. The driver continued driving and then pulled over. Officers reported that the man appeared to have a gun and a brief standoff followed. A gunshot was heard and the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while officers were present.
