On 12/01/2025, officers pursued a man driving a white SUV on Highway 99 near Highway 223. The man fired a shot during the chase while traveling at high speed. After officers disabled the vehicle with a spike strip the man exited the SUV and fired again. Police opened fire and killed him at the scene.
