OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/06/2025, officers approached a parked vehicle on South Mammoth Road and found Nickenley Turenne asleep inside with a woman. When officers attempted contact, Turenne refused to stop and police escalated a vehicle chase. He crashed and ran, and officers chased him through the area. Under unclear circumstances, officers opened fire and killed him. He had been unarmed and it is unclear why police killed him. Three officers fired their weapons. The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is conducting the investigation.
