OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/25/2021 a suspect in an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit on SR 112. When officers stopped the vehicle the driver exited and charged the officers with a knife. Officers shot the driver during the confrontation and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
