On 12/22/2025, Idaho Falls police responded to a domestic violence call on Cleveland Street in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Officers encountered 26-year-old Eduardo Trejo de Arcos. According to police reports, Trejo de Arcos was armed with a knife and attempted to grab it during the interaction. Officers fired their weapons, striking him. Trejo de Arcos was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The incident is under investigation by local law enforcement and county prosecutors.
