On 01/19/2021, Arkansas Highway Police and Arkansas State Police responded to reports of a man blocking a roadway and firing a gun near a residence on Poe Farm Road in Perryville. As officers approached the property, police reported that gunfire occurred. Authorities said Robert Laudell Bull later exited the home without a weapon, then obtained a firearm during the encounter. Officers opened fire and Bull was shot and killed. The shooting was placed under investigation. No criminal charges against officers were announced at the time of reporting.
