OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 09/21/2023, police responded to a shooting at a Toyota dealership on Eastshore Hwy in Albany involving a domestic violence incident. Grady Lamar Walker Jr shot his ex girlfriend, Alonna Gallon, who worked at the dealership, and also shot and wounded himself before officers arrived. Responding officers confronted him outside the business and opened fire, striking him. He died from gunshot wounds. Reporting confirmed one .357 caliber firearm involved and described the incident as a domestic violence shooting that escalated into a police confrontation at the dealership.
