On 10/05/2021, Pennsylvania State Police located Nurgazy Mamyrov after a reported robbery in Clinton County. Police stated troopers tracked him to a rest stop along Interstate 80 in Greene Township. Police alleged Mamyrov barricaded himself inside a tractor trailer and attempted to leave the area in the vehicle. Troopers opened fire and killed him during the encounter.
