On 10/06/2021, Kern County sheriff’s deputies located a vehicle occupied by Fidel Bedolla after responding to a domestic violence investigation in Bakersfield. Police stated deputies attempted to contact Bedolla and alleged he exited the vehicle holding a firearm. Deputies opened fire and killed him.
