On 10/07/2021, St. Charles County police observed a Ford Expedition speeding and initiated a traffic stop. Police stated the vehicle pulled into a gas station and an officer approached the passenger side. Police alleged Johan Quintero exited from the back seat and moved his hands toward his waistband. Police said a struggle followed between Quintero and an officer, and the officer opened fire and killed him.
