OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 11/15/2021, Pueblo Police Department officers responded to N. Monument Avenue and E. 19th Street after city code enforcement personnel requested assistance during a property abatement action involving Gary Woodrow Joseph Boulier Jr. Officers confronted him outside the residence while he was holding a firearm and fired their weapons during the encounter. He was struck and died at the scene. The district attorney later reviewed the use of force and determined no criminal charges would be filed against the involved officers.
