On 05/07/2021, deputies responded to a call reporting an assault involving a crowbar in the 22000 block of Margarth Street. Deputies located a man in a nearby field holding the tool after reports he struck another person during an argument. Deputies attempted to gain compliance and deployed a Taser without effect. When the man advanced toward a deputy holding the crowbar, deputies opened fire and killed him. Public reporting did not release his name. The incident followed a domestic dispute and unfolded outdoors near residences where the initial altercation occurred.
