On 01/01/2022, Marion County sheriff’s deputies went to a business at 4001 W Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala and attempted to arrest Trent Paschal. Deputies reported that Paschal fired a gun, and deputies returned fire. Reporting later stated Paschal died by suicide during the encounter.
