On 01/02/2022, York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a dispute in the 100 block of Rocky Road in York County. Deputies reported that an adult man barricaded himself inside the home and fired shots from within the residence. Deputies later entered the home and found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities classified the death as a suicide that occurred during a police response.
