On 01/05/2022, Seattle Police Department officers responded to a burglary call in the 6700 block of Swift Avenue South. Officers located an adult man inside a residence. During the encounter, officers deployed a police dog and police reported that the dog was stabbed. Officers then fired their weapons, striking and killing the man at the scene.
