On 01/07/2022, Alaska State Troopers responded to an incident near Goldhill Road and the Parks Highway in the Fairbanks area. Troopers encountered 43-year-old Michael Quinn during the response. Troopers fired their weapons during the encounter, striking and killing Quinn at the scene. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation conducted a review of the troopers’ use of deadly force.
